What's New for 2024?

The BMW X5 received many new updates for 2024. The exterior has been revised with a new front bumper and grille design, slimmer headlights, updated taillights, and new wheel designs.

The standard turbocharged 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine has been increased to 375 horsepower, and all engine options now come with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. Additionally, the xDrive50e plug-in hybrid trim has more power and ten extra miles of all-electric range (40 miles total)***.

Lastly, the interior has been upgraded with the BMW Curved Display and the iDrive 8.5 operating system.

2024 BMW X5 Exterior Design

The 2024 BMW X5 is a luxury SUV with a modern and athletic exterior design. Exterior features include the iconic BMW double kidney grille, satin aluminum exterior trim, and optional 22" wheels.

The available M Sport package adds an aerodynamic body kit, gloss-black Shadowline exterior trim, and M-design wheels.

Fourteen exterior color options are available, from sophisticated colors like Blue Ridge Mountain metallic and Skyscraper Grey metallic to exciting colors like Marina Bay Blue metallic and Isle of Man Green metallic found on the X5 M Competition.

2024 BMW X5 Interior

The 2024 BMW X5 interior seats up to five passengers, has up to 72.3 cubic feet of rear cargo space with the rear seats folded down, and up to 33.9 cu-ft with the rear seats in their standard upright position.

Standard interior features include the BMW Curved Display instrument cluster/central information screen, Sensafin upholstery, and a panoramic moonroof.

Available features include massaging, heated, and ventilated front seats, Merino leather upholstery, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system.

2024 BMW X5 Technology

The 2024 BMW X5 comes standard with the iDrive 8.5 Operating System, , which includes Remote Software Upgrades to keep your vehicle up-to-date with the latest features, and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which can help you perform various functions with simple voice commands.

Additional standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Digital Key, and My BMW App compatibility.

Available technology features include a head-up display, remote engine start, a surround view parking camera with 3D view,  and Highway Assistant, which enables attentive hands-free driving at speeds up to 85 mph on certain highways.

2024 BMW X5 Performance

The 2024 BMW X5 M Competition has up to 617 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 177 MPH. If you are looking for more efficiency, the X5 xDrive50e can get up to 58 combined MPGe and go up to 40 miles on pure electric***.

The 2024 BMW X5 also has a towing capacity of up to 7,200 pounds with the available factory-installed trailer hitch.

Standard performance features include a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo gasoline engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology and a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission.
